Operation Mobilisation (OM) started sharing the 39 Honor Oak Road premises with the church during the 1980s. OM is an evangelical Christian charity that operates in over one hundred countries, providing everything from medical aid and food relief, to educational programmes and construction projects.
They also operate a 435ft ship, Logos Hope, which visits port cities throughout the world, supplying their services. Its 400 personnel who live on the ship come from more than 50 nations.
