Welcome to Honor Oak Christian Fellowship Centre! We are a community of people who follow Jesus Christ, from many different backgrounds, countries and ages (from around 1 year old to over 90!)
We meet together every Sunday to praise and thank God for all he has done for us and to learn more about him. We also have various activities taking place during the week. Find out more about all we do on the activities page.
You are welcome to join us at the Centre on Sunday mornings - there's no need to book, you can just turn up. It would be great to see you. Some of our meetings are held online on Zoom - contact Michael Peach for details of how to join.
Face coverings are optional at our meetings. Please do be particularly considerate towards those who choose to continue wearing one.
Understanding Mental Health - From the Christian Perspective
Saturday 21st May, 2-5pm at the Centre
Many Christians struggle to understand how to think rightly about mental health. Many wonder, "Is it sinful to be depressed? Does that mean I don’t have enough faith?" Even if we aren’t struggling with mental health ourselves, we may have loved ones who are struggling and we don’t know what to say or do, or how to help, or if we are just making things worse. Come to hear Christian mental health professionals Josh and Jessica Cobb discuss biblical and practical answers to these questions and more. We'll learn about how Jesus views suffering, and how we can better care for ourselves and the ones we love.
