Welcome

Welcome to Honor Oak Christian Fellowship! We are a community of people who follow Jesus Christ, from many different backgrounds, countries and ages.

We meet together at the Centre every Sunday to praise and thank God for all he has done for us and to learn more about him. It would be great to see you there, and at our other activities during the week.

This week

Sunday morning service: 24th May at 11am, at the Centre (and on Youtube)

• This morning, we're continuing our series looking at the life of David. The Bible reading will be 1 Samuel 19 and 20, and the message will be titled, "A Plot and a Friendship."
• The Explorers group for 3-11s will meet during the service, and a DIY creche space is available (with video relay).
• You are welcome to stay and chat after the service, with tea, coffee and soft drinks.
• The service will be shown live and also available afterwards on our YouTube channel.

Sunday evening fellowship: 24th May at 6:30pm, at the Centre (with a Zoom relay)

• We are continuing our series of Bible studies in the book of Hebrews. This evening's session is titled "A warning and a promise" with a focus on Hebrews 5:11-6:20. I hope that you can join us!

Our usual midweek meetings are on a break for half term.

Men's meals: Thursday 28th May at 7pm

Short prayer meeting: Saturday 30th May at 9am

• An opportunity to meet to pray for half an hour, before the project morning.

Project morning: Saturday 30th May at 9:30am

• Our termly opportunity to get cleaning, mending, sorting, painting and gardening done in the church building and garden. No specials skills needed! At the end we'll enjoy a pizza lunch together.

Fortnight Fridays: 5th June, 7:30-9pm, at the Centre

• Our youth group for 11-18s (school years 7-13) meets fortnightly in our church building, and is organised together with Grace Church Brockley, Grace Church Sydenham and New Life Church Catford.
• The evening includes Bible teaching, games, activities and the opportunity to relax - as well as snacks. Please do encourage the 11-18s in your family to join us!
